Board of Directors
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS IS THE DESIGNATED AUTHORITY THAT HAS THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ESTABLISHING POLICIES, MAINTAINING QUALITY OPERATIONS, AND PROMOTING CONTINUOUS ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENTS.
Board members are recruited from the community and efforts will be made to ensure the makeup of the board is representative of the cultures the agency serves.
Employees of Moore Youth and Family Services, Inc. are not permitted to serve on the Board of Directors.

Meet our Leadership Staff
Dr. Amara Lett, Ph.D.
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Amara has worked in the nonprofit sector since 2012 working for a number of providers specializing in Workforce Development, educational services, and program development for individuals in need. Prior to that, she spent 12 years in higher education both as a college professor and in recruitment. She has worked in leadership for the last 24 years and enjoys working to develop teams, build programs, and serve communities to help people thrive.
She began her career with stars in her eyes earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater Education Studies. She changed course, falling in love with learning and earned a Masters in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction and an additional Graduate Certification in Human Resources Management before taking the plunge and earning her doctorate in the Philosophy of Higher Education Administration. She worked full-time while earning her education, and took on additional endeavors in consulting and nonprofit leadership, working with children with disabilities.
While not diving into education and work, Amara enjoys her 3 dogs, cooking, binge watching television shows, and hanging out with her friends and family.
Lynnette Mason, LPC-S
CLINICAL DIRECTOR
Lynnette spent the first 14 years of her professional life in in mortgage lending, but later earned her BS in Psychology from University of Phoenix, and MS in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. She became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2016.
Lynnette joined Moore Youth and Family Services Inc., in 2014 as a therapist working with adolescents and adults with mental health and substance use disorders. She transitioned to another agency where she consulted and gained important skills to prepare her for her promotion to Clinical Director as she returned home to Moore Youth & Family Services where she trains interns, manages clinical processes, and is a valued member of the leadership team.
In her spare time, Lynnette enjoys spending time with her grandchildren. She is also a fiction writer, and enjoys reading as well. Lynnette has a love of coaching others on the discipline of counseling and extends her services to universities.
Melissa Chapman
EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATOR
Before joining Moore Youth & Family Services Inc., Melissa worked as a secretary, commercial bank teller, loan assistant, and consultant. As a University of Oklahoma graduate, Melissa uses her strengths to maximize ways to improve operational productivity and outcomes. In this role, Melissa provides administrative support while efficiently planning and managing multiple assignments to meet tight deadlines. She is a hands-on team member who is known for going the extra mile. When she is not working, she enjoys gardening, photography, spending time with her husband and spoiling her two dogs and cat.
Melissa has been with Moore Youth and Family Services Inc., since 2008.
Pedra Earhart
BUSINESS OFFICE MANAGER
In this role, Pedra coordinates and manages billing responsibilities and leads a team in providing quality customer service. She also serves as the agency’s Wellness Coordinator and Health and Safety Officer.
Pedra is knowledgeable in organizing and maintaining complex clinical records, data entry of clinical information for billing and records keeping. She is responsible for execution of quarterly peer reviews of those files.
She works with all agency personnel on developing and achieving agency goals and providing a positive image within the community.
Pedra has been with Moore Youth and Family Services Inc., since 2008.
